Scheherazade WIP and sketches Sunday, Jun 22 2008

Work in progress of Scheherazade from “One Thousand and One Nights”. This is another Deviantart fairy tale project. It seems that recently all my art projects are related with fairy tales…I’m repetitive with my obsessions ^_^

Evolution Sunday, Jun 15 2008

While listening to the new album by Giovanni Allevi, i’ve thought of posting some ‘work in progress’ of a recent illustration i did for “Precious Things”. Recently, a lot of things happened, mostly unexpected like the move and the new job (nothing related with art, btw) and i necessarily had to stop drawing for awhile. I hope i’ll be able to recover lost time shortly.
Ok, the first one is a sketch i did in 2006!

I like this image very much but i’ve never had time to complete it, as you can see ^_^
Anyway, here a second WIP. Partially inked and colored, a sort of test of the final illustration.

And finally, the illustration for the book.

It was my birthday some days ago. If you’re curious about the date, me and Christopher Lee we were born on the same day…well, different years of course ^_^
